During your initial consultation, a comprehensive assessment of your past and current health is carried out to gain a complete picture of your overall well-being. This involves discussing key areas such as digestion, sleep, pain, emotions, medical history, and menstrual health for female patients.

Your acupuncturist will also observe your energy, your voice, your complexion, your tongue, and take your pulse to gather further insights.

Treatments will then be tailored to your needs and may include a combination of either acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping, abdominal cupping, guasha, and dietary recommendations.

60-minute

Follow-up consultations involve a brief discussion about how you felt after your previous treatment, any changes you’ve noticed, and any new information or concerns. Treatments will continue to include a personalised combination of techniques offered during the initial consultation.

I offer Reiki energy healing as an addition to your acupuncture treatment, to enhance relaxation, balance, and overall well-being. Reiki is a gentle, hands-on healing practice that works to clear energetic blockages, restore flow, and support emotional, physical, and spiritual harmony.

Reiki works by channelling universal life force energy through the practitioner’s hands, either lightly placed on or just above the body. This energy is intuitively received by the patient in the way that best supports their healing, whether that’s reducing stress, easing emotional burdens, or deepening the effects of acupuncture.

When combined with acupuncture, Reiki helps to calm the nervous system, enhance energetic alignment, and promote a deep sense of ease and connection. Many patients leave feeling lighter, clearer, and more grounded.

A cosmetic acupuncture session begins with a short discussion about your skin concerns and the areas you would like to focus on.

Fine, hair-thin needles are gently inserted into specific points on the face and facial muscles to help reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, sagging skin, and under-eye bags. This process stimulates collagen production and enhances blood and Qi circulation, promoting a plumper, brighter, and more refreshed complexion.

To further support skin health, additional body acupuncture points may be incorporated, along with facial Gua Sha, massage, and other tailored techniques, depending on individual needs.

Cupping session, using glass cups to create gentle suction, this treatment helps to improve circulation, release tension, and promote the natural detoxification of muscles.

Cupping is an express treatment, particularly effective for addressing chronic pain, back and neck tension, headaches and fluid retention.
